Review: Wynn, Las Vegas
Perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the Vegas strip, The Wynn lives and breathes pure luxury. Stepping out of our vehicle and into the lobby, I paused to take in the surroundings of my new home for the week. I can only possibly describe it as something out of a fairy tale, actually let's say more down the lines of an enchanted garden, covered in humongous fragrant floral arrangements and fairy lights. Basically a child's dream come true!
While we checked in, all visitors were warmly welcomed by the resort staff and I'm proud to say that throughout our entire stay the staff ensured that every single request or need was catered to in a timely and professional manner.
Walking through a maze of slot machines and poker tables, we finally reached the guests elevators that are continuously manned by security to ensure that only Wynn guests can gain access to the rooms and suites. Situated on the 24th floor, our room was mind blowing! I don't think I could possibly fault it. The room was spacious, the decor was simple but chic, the floor length windows gave us an amazing view of the stunning golf course which goes on for acres and I could literally host a party in the shower because it was that big!
In terms of dining, you'll be spoilt for choice. Options range from cafes, brasseries and top michilen restaurants. No matter what sort of cuisine you are after, I can guarantee that the Wynn will have it covered. Oh and how could I possibly forget the fantastic out of hours room service for those late nights/early mornings that become so regular in Vegas? I'm never one to really get my hopes up on getting fantastic food through room service, but I was proved so wrong on this occasion.
Vegas is obviously known for its fantastic nightlife, I was aware of this but I can definitely say I wasn't prepared. Our second night was spent at the Wynn's very own club XS, Jermaine Dupri was on the decks and it's a night that me and my friends won't be forgetting any time soon. The music was amazing, the beach club itself was out of this world and the bar tenders knew how to pour a good drink. This night could easily be our best in the entire week and we didn't even need to get a cab home, just a short walk through the hotel and we were back.
