In my social circle, we're pretty big fans of indulging in a cheeky brunch now and again. One place in particular that continues to be graced with our presence is ROKA in Canary Wharf. What brings us back to this restaurant time and time again is their excellent weekend Japanese Brunch menu! I can honestly say that the food is divine, the atmosphere is always buzzing and lets just say the unlimited wine goes down an absolute treat (yes you read correctly...unlimited...please drink responsibly).
The weekend brunch has three options, a £45, £55 and £65 menu. A welcome cocktail on arrival is also included #WINNING. Once you've selected your main course, you'll step away from your table to pick what ever your stomach desires at their buffet style kitchen/dining area that features a mouthwatering selection of fresh sushi, tempura and an assortment of meats which are grilled right in front of you by the talented chefs on the robata. I opted for the Gyuhireniku no pirikara yakiniku dish....also known as the beef fillet coated in Chilli, Ginger and Spring Onions ;) The fillet was so succulent, even thinking about it right now is literally making me drool.
If you do have any particular dietary requirements, the staff at ROKA are always so accommodating and will always go above and beyond to cater to any needs that you may have. If you are on the search for a restaurant where you can get yourself glammed up on the weekend give ROKA a try....trust me you won't regret it.
