After embarking on the unforgettable London to Glasgow overnight sleeper train experience it was time for a pick me up. Adamant to not settle for a coffee at the typical Starbucks or Costa, we set ourselves the challenge of finding an independent café with a bit of je ne sais quoi. Aimlessly walking around the streets of Glasgow and with no help from Google maps we managed to stumble across Merchant City’s acclaimed brunching spot, The Wilson Street Pantry. It was honestly love at first sight!
Walking in your immediately greeted by the staff who were ever so welcoming. When they say ‘People make Glasgow’ this spot is living proof that they honestly do. The pantry has an undeniable relaxed vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. So homely that we returned every single morning without fail!
Whether your popping in for a coffee, or you’re going all out for brunch you won’t be disappointed. Throughout the long weekend we managed to try a mixture of Breakfast Rolls, Scottish Porridge, Eggs Royale, French toast…the list goes on. The food was mouth-wateringly good, to the point that me and my boyfriend have literally tried to copy all the dishes at home!
If you’re ever in Glasgow and you love a good brunch…I repeat make sure The Wilson Street Pantry is your first point of call! Oh and let’s not forget that Wilson Street is dog-friendly (BONUS POINTS). You can relax, eat and adore cute puppies! What more can a girl want!
